If your business plan is your road map for success, then your financial reporting is the compass that tells you if you are arriving at your destination as planned or if a change in direction is necessary. Most consultants, business counselors, and lenders agree that the one fundamental weakness that most small business owners (and their managers) share is the difficulty that they have with intrepreting what their financials are telling them - if they are reviewing them regularly at all. Participants who complete the workshop will have an understanding of what information the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows provide, what it means to your business, and how to use them effectively to react to problems and improve the overall operation of your business.
Speaker: Ross Hart
